About the Author

David Levin was born in the island city of Galveston. He is a Houston attorney whose practice has given him an intimate view of extreme life experiences. He uses this background to explore compelling storylines: life struggling to become free and to survive, people laboring under heart-wrenching despair, the negative side of historic institutions, irrational hatred, the morality of righteous force, and struggles between bipolar interests. His religious upbringing leads the author to have a sanguine outlook for human kind. He and his wife, Peggy, have two sons, four grandchildren, and sibling wheaten terriers.
